Women of San Angelo

The Women of San Angelo website was created to provide a way for newcomers as well as residents to get to know each other via the Internet. I moved to San Angelo in October of 2005 wanting to make new friends. This is my way of introducing myself to you and letting the the women in our community link up and get to know each other.  I have found that many of the talented women in San Angelo are well kept secrets. This website is for you to share your talents, businesses and upcoming events that may be of interest to the ladies living here. 

We are looking for stories of family history and old vintage photographs. We hope you take advantage of our chat rooms and responding to our Blog. To do so you must be a member of www.freewebs.com. The good news is that you can easily create a free website for yourself and link up to us!

Our intention is to simply be a resource that caters to the needs and interests of women. Women of San Angelo will be hosting music concerts, women's retreats and social gatherings throughout the year. Our first group project will be a cookbook called Women of San Angelo. We want pictures and stories that go with the recipes. Maybe there is a traditional dish or dessert for special occasions passed down in your family. Or you can share a story of how you came to discover a favorite recipe.

Our website is about women for women. In the spirit of America and understanding our diversity, we welcome all religions and ethnic groups to participate in posting their links to our site. However, our standards do not allow links to websites with adult content or anything not suitable for children.
